Children’s Ministries

 

Children’s ministries develop the faith of children from birth through age 14. It seeks to provide multiple ministries that will lead children to Jesus and disciple them in their daily walk with Him. It cooperates with the Sabbath school and other departments to provide religious education to children and fulfills its mission by developing a variety of grace-oriented ministries for children that are inclusive, service-oriented, leadership-building, safe, and evangelistic.

 

Cradle Roll Lessons (My Bible Stories) is from birth to 2 years old.

 

Kindergarten (My Bible Lessons) is a 3-year cycle for ages 3 to 5. It presents the plan of salvation in chronological order, from Genesis to Revelation, in the context of the Bible stories.

 

Primary Lessonis a 3-year cycle for ages 6-9. My Bible First is designed to assist the early reader to begin a personal devotion time. The three-year cycle enlarges and expands the great controversy and plan of salvation theme introduced in the kindergarten lessons.

 

Junior/Teen Bible Lessons 3-year cycle for ages 10 and up. It presents the plan of salvation in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation in the context of Bible stories. The last two quarters cover Reformation history and early Advent church history. In addition, Bible doctrines are presented in the context of the stories.

 

High-School Lesson Ages (14 – 18) is the Sabbath School Bible study guide for high school teens. It is based on a four-year “through-the-Bible” study curriculum. The lessons are intended for teens to use in their daily Bible study and to provide the basis for learning and discussion in youth Sabbath School.
